Russian aggressors often try to target rescue workers, volunteers, and civilians helping to clean up the aftermath of shelling. This may include the use of FPV drones or the dropping of explosives, which increases the risk to those near the front lines.
According to information from the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, specialists from the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security have developed a number of recommendations to ensure security in such situations.
Key tips:
- Be careful with objects in the air : If you hear the sound of a drone or see one in the sky, immediately head for cover. If the drone is hovering over you, it means that the enemy has spotted you. In this case, it is important to take cover quickly.
- Behavior in a vehicle : If you see a drone while in a vehicle, immediately leave the vehicle, pull off the road, and seek cover.
- If the drone has crashed : If you have seen the crash site of the drone, immediately notify the rescue services or the police by calling 101 or 102.
These simple but important rules will help reduce the risk to life and health when working in dangerous conditions near the front line.
