The Ministry of Defense's Reserve+ application has begun beta testing deferrals from military service, which can now be issued online. The first to use this new feature will be students and graduate students who have previously filled out a test form. Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chornohorenko announced this on her Facebook page.
Chornogorenko also noted that after students and postgraduates, people with disabilities and large families will have access to deferrals. “We are doing everything gradually,” she added, emphasizing that currently there is no provision for sending push notifications. Instead, users will receive instructions on how to access the service in their email inboxes.
How the service will work
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense, for users who already have a valid deferral, an extension is possible only after its expiration. The full launch of the service is planned for the coming days.
“We are also grateful to those who already have a deferral and are testing the service. After all, we need to check how the service is displayed for different categories of citizens,” Chornohorenko said. She also emphasized that user feedback will help improve the digitalization of military accounting.
