As our sources in the Republican Party report, Donald Trump's team is currently preparing a major PR campaign that should accompany the signing of a future peace treaty between Ukraine and Russia mediated by the United States.
As a reminder, Donald Trump's inauguration is scheduled for January 20, 2025, after which all his initiatives on the international track will be legitimate. Presumably, Trump will begin the implementation of international policy by resolving the "Ukrainian issue" as one of his key campaign promises.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an interview with the telethon "Edeny Novyny" (The Only News) said that he plans to meet with Donald Trump immediately after the inauguration to discuss peace initiatives.
In this context, it is worth mentioning the recent trip to the US by the head of the Ukrainian People's Party, Andriy Yermak, to meet with the Trump team. According to our sources, Andriy Yermak was extremely dissatisfied with the meeting with the Republicans, organized through Boris Johnson's contacts in Washington.
In particular, according to the source, after returning to Kyiv, Andriy Yermak noted in a private conversation that "there is no point in paying such money to lobbyists" and "we will change the scenario.".
Also, according to the source, Andriy Yermak brought several ultimatum demands from the Republicans from the United States, such as "the need to sign a peace treaty and conduct personnel rotations.".
In addition to the ultimatums issued by the Republicans to Volodymyr Zelensky's team, the meeting also discussed "security guarantees under certain conditions.".
At the same time, our sources in the Republican Party report that they see potential problems in providing "security guarantees" due to distrust in Volodymyr Zelensky's team: "Ukrainians are trying to buy us. They don't understand that their millions are very toxic money that will hit us if made public, and Ukrainians will hand us over to the Democrats immediately.".
