Russia attacked Ukraine's satellite broadcasting

The 1+1 TV channel announced an attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian satellite broadcasting, which resulted in the suspension of TV broadcasting from the satellite.

“There have been further attempts to jam Ukrainian satellite broadcasting on the Astra 4A 11766 H transponder, where 39 TV channels broadcast, including 1+1 media’s own and partner TV channels, including 1+1 Ukraine, 1+1 Marathon, 2+2, TET, PLUSPLUS, Bigudi, KVARTAL TV and others. Currently, the broadcast has been temporarily suspended until the problem is resolved,” the message says.

It is noted that Russia began actively jamming the satellite signal of Ukrainian TV channels since the beginning of March.

“1+1” considers this an attempt to “disorient Ukrainian society.”.
