Russia bases "Shaheeds" with thermobaric warheads: two walls may not protect

The Russian military is increasingly equipping Iranian Shahed drones with thermobaric warheads, which significantly increases the destructive power of these drones, especially in conditions of attack on fortified premises. As Defense Express noted, such modernization could pose a serious threat to civilian shelters, where conventional walls may not provide adequate protection.

"In the event of a thermobaric warhead being detonated in a residential area, it is much more difficult to hide from its effects. The cloud of fire from it will completely fill the entire apartment, while the "two walls" rule can save you from the effects of a high-explosive fragmentation munition," the publication writes.

So in the event of a raid, the "Shahedi" are advised not only to hide behind two walls, but also to close the interior doors.
