"Russian terrorists again massively attacked Ukraine with missiles. Various cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of different types. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and a children's hospital were damaged," Zelensky said.
He noted that all services are involved to save as many people as possible.
This morning, July 8, Russian occupiers shelled Kyiv, causing serious consequences for the city. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, residents heard several loud explosions, causing destruction and significant material damage.
Falling debris was recorded in various districts of the city - Solomiansky, Dniprovsky, Darnytsky, Desnyansky, Shevchenkivsky, and Holosiivsky - which led to damage to residential and office buildings. In particular:
- An office building was damaged in the Solomyanskyi district.
- In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell near a residential building.
- Debris is burning in a residential building in the Dnipro district.
- A private house was damaged in the Darnytskyi district.
- A house fire broke out in the Desnyanskyi district.
- In the Shevchenko district, the Ohmadit Children's Hospital was damaged, there is destruction.


All emergency services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences and provide assistance to the victims.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack on his official Telegram channel and called on the international community to act decisively to stop Russian aggression.
“And the whole world must use all its determination to finally stop the Russian strikes. Murder is what Putin brings. Only together can we bring true peace and security,” Zelenskyy said.
