Oksana Shperyk, a mother -in -law of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, received state orders for more than UAH 16.6 million from Ukrsport Support Institution. It is about tenders for the supply of skis, snowboards, equipment and other equipment for winter Olympic sports.
This story was interested in journalists, because the son -in -law of the sub -eras - Sergey Sednev , Head of the Department of Winter Olympic Sports in the Ministry of Youth. Sednev first refused to communicate without pre -sent questions, and receiving them - generally stopped communicating.
After the official appeal of the journalists to the press service of the Ministry, Sednev still answered - in the form of an explanatory note. In it he claims that ... not familiar with his mother -in -law.
In addition, the official insists that the procurement is not engaged in the department, but the subordinate structure - "Ukrsport Support". So, they say, it does not affect the process. He also stated that neither he nor his wife is related to Oksana Shperyk's business activity.
However, journalists found out that Speryk received budget funds from other state sports institutions. The total amount of its contracts exceeds UAH 19 million.
Moreover, the head of one of such institutions, which agreed only on the conditions of anonymity, reported that it was Sergei Sednev who persistently recommended to conclude a contract with this supplier.
Coincidence? Formal non -involvement? Is the scheme covered with dry bureaucratic withdrawals?
