Scheme reporters have published an investigation that found large -scale real estate investments in the united Arab Emirates by relatives of the former adviser to the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Andriy Grinin. According to them, during 2021–2023, his family members purchased a home in Dubai for more than $ 14 million.
These purchases took place almost immediately after NABU, the activity of a criminal organization, headed by Gririn and then SPFU chairman Dmitry Sennychenko, was stopped. The investigation believes that they together organized a scheme for the appropriation of state-owned enterprises-in particular the Odessa Port Plant (OPC) and a combined mining-chemical company (OGHK).
The loudest episode is to buy nine elite apartments in one day worth more than $ 7.3 million. They were purchased by Vladimir Kolot, the husband of Sister Andrei Gririn. The stab appears in a criminal case as a co -owner of a firm who allegedly received a profit through Relations with the IPP.
In March 2023, Gmirin himself bought an apartment at Grande worth $ 1.3 million, but soon sold it. And his wife Anastasia Hrina earlier, in February 2022, invested 5.5 million in luxury apartments by almost 500 squares in the IL Primo near Burj Khalifa skyscraper. This real estate was issued on the mother -in -law of Gmyrina - Tatiana Orlov.
According to journalists, the family has now sold the majority of objects, but stores some of the real estate worth at least $ 5.5 million. Some of the premises are leased by 2025-2026, which may indicate a permanent residence of the family in the UAE.
Meanwhile, the National Anti -Corruption Bureau, together with the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office, continues the investigation. The persons are threatened with up to 12 years in prison for organizing a criminal group and theft of public funds in particularly large amounts.
The case has been studied not for the first year, but none of the main persons involved has not yet been held accountable. The Dubai investment scandal only strengthened the public request for real justice - and not only in Ukraine.
