Today, May 12, Kharkiv and its suburbs came under fire from Russian occupiers. According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, Russian forces are shelling the city and its surroundings.
“The occupiers are striking. Kharkiv and suburbs: be careful,” he wrote.
Sinegubov did not reveal any further details about the shelling.
As a reminder, a few days ago, the Russians resumed their offensive towards the Kharkiv region from the north. They tried to take control of border settlements.
Currently, there are active hostilities in the north of the region. The enemy is trying to break through the border using manpower and equipment.
As the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Regional Office, Oleg Synegubov, said today, May 12, the “gray zone” in the Kharkiv region has become larger. The number of settlements where fighting is taking place has also increased.
