The Russian drone-rocket attack in Ukraine on the night of June 6 again hit energy infrastructure. Without light remained residents of Kyiv, Ternopil and settlements of Lviv region.
According to DTEK's official information, more than 2,000 families on the left bank of Kyiv were deactivated:
“Due to the shelling of Russian invaders, 2 167 families of the left bank of the capital were left without electricity. We do our best to return the light to every home as soon as possible, ”the energy statement said.
Problems with electricity supply were also recorded in Lviv region. According to the head of the Lviv Ova Maxim Kozytsky, several power lines were failed in several villages near Lviv. Lutoblenergo emergency crews are currently working there.
The serious consequences of the attack are also in Ternopil. The mayor of the city Serhiy Nadal reported that part of the city was left without light, and the de -defect led to disruptions with water supply:
"There is no pressure on the upper floors," the mayor said.
In Kiev, the night shelling damages civilian infrastructure, dwellings, cars, as well as a subway section between Darnytsia and Left Bank. According to the mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, four people were killed as a result of the attack, and twenty more were injured, 16 of whom were hospitalized.
Cities in the west of Ukraine - in particular Lutsk and Ternopil, also found themselves. The extent of damage and the effects of infrastructure are still clarified.
As of the morning of June 6, energy continues to work on the restoration of power. Official sources urge Ukrainians to use electricity in peak hours.
