On December 29, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, leaving behind devastating consequences in four major cities. The attack caused fires in residential buildings.
During the preparation of the material, information was used from such sources as the Telegram channels of Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychka, KMVA, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovoy, the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi, Sumy OVA and local Telegram channels in Odesa.
Kyiv: According to local authorities, there were no direct hits in Kyiv, but falling debris was recorded in several areas:
- Svyatoshyn district: a high-rise building and cars caught fire.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: damage to a residential building.
- Darnytskyi district: damage to a residential building.
In total, seven victims were reported in Kyiv, who were hospitalized.
Lviv: Lviv suffered two attacks - first by "shahedas" and then by rockets. During the second attack, a residential building was hit, and there are casualties. Also, a fire broke out in one of Lviv's lyceums, probably as a result of rocket fragments.
Konotop: In the Sumy region, Konotop was hit by a rocket, which damaged an apartment building and injured three people.
Odesa: Official information about the consequences of the morning attack in Odesa has not yet been received, but the Internet reports of explosions due to the work of air defense and hitting a high-rise building. Also, on the evening of December 28 in Odesa, a house was hit by fragments of downed kamikaze drones.
Mass attacks by Russian terrorists continue, with explosions in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, Sumy and Cherkasy regions.
