The work of air defense and the consequences of the attack
According to Kim, during the night, air defense forces actively worked to repulse enemy strikes. However, some energy facilities in the region were damaged, causing large-scale blackouts.
"Currently, the energy industry is working to restore electricity supply to consumers. Most of the region has already been restored, but the work is still ongoing," Kim said.
Scale of outages
205,000 people remain without electricity . However, Vitaly Kim emphasized that there are no casualties among the civilian population, and experts are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible.
Context of events
We will remind that such attacks on critical infrastructure are part of Russia's constant tactics aimed at undermining Ukraine's energy capacities, especially in the autumn-winter period. It is not the first time that the Mykolaiv region has become the target of such attacks.
