Russian troops shelled residential buildings and schools in Kherson

As of the morning of Wednesday, October 16, the Kherson city-territorial community was again under fire from the Russian military, which carried out eight shellings in the last day. As the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported, the shelling affected several settlements, in particular, Kherson, Komyshany and Sadove.

As a result of the attacks, at least 10 private houses, two high-rise buildings, an educational institution, three cars and a garage were damaged. In addition, three civilians were injured in various degrees of severity. They were provided with the necessary medical assistance.

Roman Mrochko also reported that the entire Kherson had previously been cut off. The reasons are currently being investigated, and power engineers are working to restore the power supply.
