Russian troops continue to advance relatively quickly to the south of Pokrovsk. According to the updated map of the military publication Deep State, the settlements through which the important road in the direction of Kurakhovo passes are under threat: Shevchenko, Novotroitske and Novoolenivka.
The Russians have less than a kilometer left to Shevchenko, said a Ukrainian officer with the call sign "Alex".
"The rate of advance and the number of the enemy in this direction are not just superior, they are many times superior," he added.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military reported that the Russians, moving south of Pokrovsk, want to bypass the city and cut it off from the west.
