Russian troops continue to advance relatively quickly south of Pokrovsk. According to an updated map from the military website Deep State, the settlements that are under threat are Shevchenko, Novotroitske, and Novoolenivka, which are on an important road to Kurakhovo.
The Russians are less than a kilometer away from Shevchenko, said a Ukrainian officer with the call sign "Alex.".
"The pace of advance and the number of the enemy in this direction are not just overwhelming, they are overwhelming many times over," he added.
