Based on the information from the DeepState maps, it is clear that the T0511 route, which leads from Ocheretino to Progress, is under significant attack by enemy forces. In particular, Russian troops are operating closer to the T0504 highway and are preparing to conquer a small village whose area does not exceed 1 square kilometer.
According to DeepState, units of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in four directions towards the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The enemy managed to break through the Ukrainian defense in four places. One of these breakthroughs occurred in the village of Vozdvizhenka, which is the last obstacle before the logistics route between Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka. Details of these battles in the east as of July 9 were published in the Telegram channel of DeepState experts.
Experts on the map noted four directions of successful offensives of the Russian Armed Forces: Vozdvizhenka, Lozuvatske, Progress and Novoselivka Persha. In all cases, the enemy troops managed to break through the Ukrainian defense line at a distance of 600 m to 1.5 km. All these directions are located near Pokrovsk and are separated from the farthest point by about 11 kilometers.
Vozdvizhenka is located near a reservoir that stretches from the village to Novooleksandrivka. The Russians managed to extend almost a kilometer to the T0504 route, which connects Pokrovsk with Kostiantynivka. The distance to the track itself is about 5.7 km, and the area of the village, which has 380 inhabitants, is 1 square kilometer.
Lozuvatske is marked by the biggest breakthrough in the last day, when Russian troops passed 1.57 km through the fields to the east of the settlement, where 17 people used to live.
The progress is marked by the fact that the Russian troops managed to advance along the T0511 route from Ocheretino to a distance of about 840 meters.
Novoselivka Persha also became the site of a breakthrough, when Russian troops moved up to 1.4 km across the fields between Yevhenivka-Sokol and Novoprokopivsk.
According to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the evening of July 8, the Pokrovsky direction remained the most tense. During the last day, there were 38 "assault and offensive actions" by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Among the points where the attacks took place, DeepState experts noted Vozdvizhenka (together with Novooleksandrivka) and Novoselivka Persha.
It is also worth noting that in the previous report, the experts noted the successes of the Russian troops in three other settlements. Changes in the Kupyan, Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions also appeared on the online map of hostilities.
