Today, Russian troops launched a rocket attack on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, causing significant destruction and casualties. According to preliminary data, one person died as a result of the attack, 13 others were injured, including a 16-year-old girl.
"According to the investigation, on December 24, 2024, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih So far, 1 dead person is known. 13 people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl," the message reads.
It is noted that a residential building, shops, and cars were damaged.
The Prosecutor General's Office emphasizes that the information about the victims and destruction is being clarified. People are likely to remain under the rubble of the building.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings for the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the message reads.
