MI-6 has passed on intelligence to the Office of the President and the General Staff that the Russian army has accumulated a large number of missiles/Lancets/Shaheds and aerial bombs for a summer counteroffensive. British intelligence believes that the Kremlin wants to organize a demonstration mass strike on several sectors of the front, to destroy the maximum number of Ukrainian soldiers. The main purpose of such an attack will be the psychological factor, to demonstrate the full potential of the Russian army and break the alignment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, on the Donetsk Front, the Russian Armed Forces are developing an offensive towards Semenivka and conducting assault operations in Berdychi. On the Bakhmut direction, the Russian Armed Forces have advanced towards Chasiv Yar and continued assault operations in the Klishchiivka area and on the western outskirts of Ivanovske.
In the Avdiivka direction, after establishing control over Tonenky and Orlivka, the Russian Armed Forces are actively advancing west of the villages, and it is also reported that the Russian army is taking over the settlement of Pervomayske from the north. That is, the Ukrainian line of defense, occupied here after the loss of Avdiivka, is gradually being pushed forward by Russian troops.
On the Luhansk Front, the Russian Armed Forces are also conducting assault operations in the Yampolivka and Terny areas.
