Russia struck a massive blow: destruction and injuries in Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Bucha, Kyiv and Dnipro

This morning, February 15, Ukraine was hit by a combined missile attack by Russia. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and Dnipro, as well as in the western regions, in particular in Lviv, where destruction and numerous injuries were recorded. Zaporozhye was also affected by shelling. The attack lasted until 7 o'clock in the morning, after which the situation returned to normal.

At night, rockets were launched over Poltava region and Myrhorod. In the morning, Tu-95MS bombers fired cruise missiles from the Engels region, which belongs to Russia.

At around 5 o'clock in the morning, the launch of sea-based cruise missiles "Caliber" from the south was also recorded, which led to the announcement of an air alert throughout the territory of Ukraine.

After 5:30 in the morning, the first groups of cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bombers invaded Ukraine through Sumy Oblast.

The Air Force reported that a total of 13 of the 26 missiles launched by Russia were shot down.

Eight of the 12 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles fired from the T-95MS strategic aircraft were shot down.

As for the six Iskander-M ballistic missiles, which can only be shot down by the latest PATRIOT systems, one was shot down. It is noted that there may be a certain number of North Korean missiles among them.

Of the two Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the sea, both were shot down. Two of the four Kh-59 air missiles were also shot down. Russia launched two S-300 missiles, but neither was shot down. It is noted that they can also be shot down only by PATRIOT complexes.

A blow thundered across Kyiv and Buchi Some rockets headed straight for Kyiv, while another group flew west through Vinnytsia and returned to the capital from Zhytomyr region.

Air defense systems were operating near Kyiv, and explosions could be heard in the suburbs.

Later, the Air Force reported ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv, after which loud explosions were felt in the capital and heard in various areas.

The military administration of the city announced that all the missiles that were flying towards the capital had been shot down, and that there were no casualties or damage.

On the territory of Kyiv region, fragments of rockets fell in two settlements, as a result of which private houses, commercial buildings and cars were damaged.

According to the mayor of Buchi, Anatoly Fedoruk, a huge crater was formed in the village of Buda-Babenetska of the Buchan community as a result of the destruction of a Russian missile. As a result of falling debris, windows were broken, the roof was damaged, but there were no casualties.

In Lviv, they witnessed destruction and injuries after a series of maneuvers, when some rockets fired from Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsia (where the air defense system was operating and where explosions were heard) launched an attack in the direction of Rivne and Volyn. Later, some of them reached Lviv Oblast, where explosions took place right in Lviv.

Witnesses say they heard at least three or four explosions and several rockets flew near the city center.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, reported on the said hits in the city, after which he published photos and detailed information about the consequences of the shelling.

"According to preliminary data, more than ten rockets were fired into our region. Air defense systems successfully resisted this attack, but, unfortunately, we recorded one hit on an infrastructure facility," he said.

According to the mayor, two schools and one kindergarten were damaged, more than 400 windows were broken, and a total of 18 residential buildings were destroyed.

"As a result of the attack, there are three wounded Lviv residents who received medical assistance, but their lives are not in danger," added the mayor.

Several missiles were also maneuvered near Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk , as reported by the Air Force, where the air defense system was also operating.

Damage was recorded in Frankiv Oblast after the missile was shot down.

"During the morning alert, an enemy target in the region was destroyed. As a result of falling debris, the roofs of farm buildings caught fire, but the fire was quickly extinguished. Fortunately, there were no victims and significant destruction," the regional administration said in a statement.

A series of rocket attacks took place in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Myrhorod Around 6:30 a.m., the Dnipro was hit by ballistic missiles.

"The enemy attacked the objects of civil infrastructure", said the head of the regional military-administrative administration, Serhii Lysak.

It was also recorded that a missile hit an infrastructure object in Zaporizhzhia, the head of the region, Ivan Fedorov, reported.

According to preliminary data, four people were injured, explained the secretary of the city council, Anatoliy Kurtev. Residential buildings, educational institutions and commercial premises were damaged.

Explosions and rocket hits are also known in the Poltava region. At the beginning of the night, a rocket hit a warehouse in the Myrhorod district, which caused a fire on an area of ​​100 square meters, the head of the regional military-administrative administration, Philip Pronin, said. There were no casualties or damage.
