This morning, September 26, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Khmelnytskyi region using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned of the threat at 10:01 a.m., reporting the missile's course toward the region. In two minutes, the military announced the second launch.
Local telegram channels report two explosions in the Khmelnytskyi region, in particular in the Starokostyantynov district. One of the explosions, according to witnesses, happened even before the announcement of the air alert.
In the morning after 10:00 a.m., an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine due to the threat of missile launches from Russian MiG-31K aircraft. Explosions also rang out in Kyiv immediately after the start of the alarm.
This attack is part of regular Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian territory aimed at destroying critical infrastructure and terrorizing the civilian population.
