Russian troops continue active military operations in the south of Ukraine. They intensified their assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Vremevsky ledge and are concentrating their forces for a possible offensive in the areas of Gulyaipol and Orichovo. This was reported by the spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces, Vlad Voloshyn.
According to Voloshyn, every day the Russians carry out one and a half dozen assaults in the direction of Velika Novosilka: in this way, they are trying to cut off the logistics for the Ukrainian military, which is holding positions in the Kurakhovo area.
"That is, the enemy continues not only shelling, but also assaults. They pass in small groups of infantry from 5 to 10 people, but BBM are used for delivery and support of actions. On the rest of the directions, Gulyaipil and Orihiv, the enemy is preparing for an assault - replenishing ammunition and engineering reconnaissance, as well as trying to conduct combat reconnaissance," Voloshyn added.
Over the weekend, Russian Z-publics also wrote about the tactical offensive of Russian troops around Orichov.
