The day before yesterday, a serious military incident took place in the border area of the Sumy region, connected with the attempt of Russian saboteurs to break through. This became a matter of great concern for the Ukrainian military and local residents who suffered from the offensive of enemy forces.

The offensive took place in the area of the villages of Chuykivka, Rozhkovichi and Sytne.
"After long-term artillery preparation and shelling from mortars, the DRG entered. There are a lot of 300 of our soldiers. But the Russians were knocked out. People in Druzhba are currently without communication, electricity, or the Internet," the soldier writes.
On Tuesday, the General Staff also reported on sabotage and reconnaissance activities of the Russian Federation in the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
We will remind you that the Russians regularly make attempts to break out of the DRG in the north of Ukraine, and the head of the GUR Budanov talked about a possible breakthrough attempt in the Sumy region back in May.
