Russian troops are preparing to change the tactics of offensive actions in Ukraine - analysts of the Institute for War Study (ISW) have declared the preparation of systematic use of motorcycles in battles in the summer and fall of 2025.
According to ISW, the Russian Defense Ministry has released a video that recorded training of fighters at the landfill. The military worked off the offensive and defense, using motorcycles in groups of two or three people. Analysts believe that Moscow is preparing to re -arry units on the front of motorcycles.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirm this information. According to him, it can increase maneuverability and speed of movement, which complicates the damage from the air with drones. ISW analysts note that the use of motorcycles and civilian transport for the transportation of infantry becomes a new trend on the front. This testifies to the attempts of the Russian command to compensate for the huge losses of armored vehicles that the Russians suffered in the summer and fall of 2024.
Such changes in tactics are expected to reduce the vulnerability of Ukrainian drones.
Earlier in the State Border Service of Ukraine reported the intensification of the enemy in the border areas, in particular in Sumy and Kharkiv region. Also in the command of OTU Khortytsia noted that Russian troops plan to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions until May 9.
