The Russians continue their offensive on Toretsk and Pokrovsk

Russian troops continue to put pressure on the strategically important cities of Toretsk and Pokrovsk, trying to gain a foothold in the region. Fighting continues at a high intensity and the situation remains tense. This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in its latest report.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine achieved success in Kurshchyna

On the other hand, Ukrainian forces are continuing their offensive in the Glushki district of the Kursk region of Russia. Geolocation data from September 29 indicate that the Armed Forces advanced to the west and northwest of the village of Vesele, capturing the northwestern part of the settlement. According to the estimates of the military analyst Konstantin Mashovets, about 40-41 thousand Russian soldiers are concentrated in the Kursk region, and the enemy plans to strengthen its positions with another six thousand military personnel.

The situation in Kharkiv Oblast

In the north of the Kharkiv region on September 29, the Russian occupiers tried to carry out several offensive operations, in particular in the districts of Hlyboki, Vovchansk and Tykhi. However, no progress was recorded. The Russians reinforced their units near Hlyboky and moved additional forces to Vovchansk to replenish losses.

Luhansk region: Russian offensive continues

In the Luhansk region, Russian troops continue to attack on the line Kupyansk - Svatove - Kreminna, but have not made significant progress. The occupiers carried out offensive actions near Andriivka and Makiivka, although there is no confirmation of their success.

Donetsk region: Battles in the Seversky direction

Russian attacks in the Seversky direction, in particular near Bilogorivka and Verkhnokamyansky, did not lead to changes in the front line. The enemy continues to advance in the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Kalynyvka, Bila Hora and Kurdyumivka, but there is no advance.

Zaporizhzhia region: The offensive of the invaders in the south

On the southern axis of the front, in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces continue their offensive near Robotyny and Kamianskyi. At the same time, there are no confirmed changes on the front line in this area.

Thus, Russian forces continue to try to advance in key regions, but do not achieve significant success, while Ukrainian forces continue counteroffensive operations in the northern and southern directions.
