The Russian occupiers continue their offensive on the eastern front of Ukraine, strengthening their positions and trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces in several directions. According to the monitoring project DeepState , which monitors the situation on the front line, the enemy managed to occupy the village of Hirnyk in the Kurakhiv direction. In addition, the advance of the enemy was recorded in Selydovo, Bogoyavlenka, Novoukrayinka, as well as near Shakhtarsky and Novooleksiivka.
A particularly difficult situation is observed in the Selidovoy region. Fighters of the 15th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Kara-Dag" report about a large-scale offensive by Russian forces, which has been going on for almost a week. According to their data, the occupiers entrenched themselves in separate positions in the area and threw additional forces in the direction of Vyshnevo, trying to encircle Selidove.
Yesterday, Russian troops raised a red flag in the center of the village of Bogoyavlenka, in the Vugledarsk urban community of the Volnova district of Donetsk region, symbolizing their entrenchment in these territories. There were also photos and video footage from the city council of Selidovo, which is already under the control of the invaders.
According to the Ukrainian military and local sources, in some areas under Russian occupation, drone pilots noticed the deaths of civilians. In areas that are already under the control of Russian troops, but were not affected by active hostilities, the bodies of civilians were discovered.
The situation at the front remains tense. At the same time, Ukrainian military units continue to strengthen defenses, seeking to stop the enemy and prevent further advancement in strategically important areas.
