Photos of the office of the former head of the Kharkiv Bokarius Research Institute of Forensic Examinations, Serhiy Tyulenev, have appeared on social media. The author of the publication claims that the cost of renovating the premises could reach $200,000.

Tyulenev, who was demoted and transferred to a small institute for IT and intellectual property expertise after the scandal, set up a luxurious office for himself in the premises of the existing laboratory during the first three months of work.
The published photos, shared by a user under the nickname "Explosive", show a marble table, Empire-style furniture, decorative elements under the "Venetian" plaster, antique icons, expensive appliances, and equipped sanitary facilities.
Given Tyulenev's many years of work in the forensics system, the post raises questions about the legality of the origin of the funds spent on the renovation and furnishing of the office.
As a reminder, Serhiy Tyulenev was released on November 14. He had previously appeared in journalists' investigations into corrupt practices in the forensic examination system.
