Law enforcement officers uncovered an illegal scheme for obtaining disability groups for miners. According to Ukrainian Pravda, the former MP and five accomplices were informed of the suspicion. Nardepka from "Samopochi" Iryna Sysoenko in the center of attention.
The investigation established that the former People's Deputy, who currently works at the capital's Institute of Preventive Medicine, organized the production and sale of fictitious documents on obtaining a disability group due to occupational diseases.
The scheme included cooperation with medical institutions and intermediaries from the Lviv region. The intermediaries demanded a large sum of money from the miners for the simplified registration of medical documents, which did not actually take place.
"During the transfer of 32,000 US dollars, the intermediary and the deputy head of the institution were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. Searches were conducted at the place of residence and work of the participants of the criminal scheme in the territory of the city of Kyiv, Lviv and Donetsk regions. 629,000 US dollars, 9 million UAH, 34,000 euros, draft documents, mobile phones with correspondence were identified and seized.
The deputy director of the medical institution and the intermediary were chosen preventive measures in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail. The question of choosing preventive measures for other participants of the scheme is being resolved and all officials involved in the illegal scheme are being identified," the report said.
