Last week, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and as a whole the draft law, which provides for the digitization of the process of the Military Medical Commission (MMC). The initiative provides for a significant reform of the system, in particular, the creation of a "digital VLK", which should simplify the passage of the medical commission for military personnel.
It envisages the automatic transfer of medical data on citizens' suitability for military service to the "Oberig" Register of Conscripts, writes "Sudovo-yuridychna Gazeta".
That is, all medical data from hospitals will become available to the Ministry of Defense. Which, in theory, should speed up the passage of medical commissions during mobilization. And starting in the summer, it will be possible to undergo VLK in any hospital, without visiting the Military Commissariat.
In three months from the moment of the signing of the law by the president, the authorities intend to introduce referrals to the LCC through the "Reserve+" system and make the results of the medical commission in electronic format.
And by June 1, 2025, it will be possible to undergo a medical examination for LKK in any medical facility. That is, it will be possible to pass the medical board outside the TCC, the data will be sent there automatically.
Health data will be recorded with a doctor's digital signature, will include fitness recommendations and anthropometric indicators.
At the same time, the publication indicates that the legal department of the Council criticized the norm of disclosing a person's medical data without his consent, although they are confidential personal information.
Experts indicated that the data transfer procedure is not directly related to ensuring national security. But the deputies ignored this remark.
