From May 18, 2024, the number of persons who have the right to serve summonses under the new law on mobilization has increased in Ukraine. In addition to representatives of territorial procurement centers (TCC), other categories of persons also received the right to serve summonses.
Including:
- Representatives of structural subdivisions of district and city state administrations, military administrations.
- Representatives of executive bodies of village, settlement, city, district councils in cities.
- Heads of institutions (organizations) or natural persons - entrepreneurs who provide services for the management of multi-apartment buildings, or heads of boards of condominiums and notification groups.
- Representatives of enterprises, institutions, organizations, educational institutions at the place of work or study.
Also, representatives of the appropriate division of intelligence agencies of the SBU for reservists and conscripts have the right to serve summonses throughout the territory of Ukraine.
All these persons must have a special certificate issued by the heads of the relevant state institutions, which confirms their right to serve subpoenas. They can serve subpoenas 24 hours a day at the address of the place of residence, work, study, in public places, as well as at checkpoints and other designated places.
Changes in the legislation allow to increase the number of persons who can be involved in the fulfillment of mobilization duties, which is an important step in strengthening the country's defense capability.
