Odesa was subjected to a massive attack by Russian drones overnight and in the morning, resulting in one person being killed and at least 11 injured, including a child, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.
According to updated data as of 7:00, one of the victims died in hospital from his injuries. Two of the wounded are in serious condition. The attack on the region continued into the morning.
The enemy struck the city's residential infrastructure. A hit was recorded on the roof of one of the maternity hospitals in the Primorsky district. Thanks to the fact that the staff and patients went down to the shelter in time, it was possible to avoid casualties among doctors and women in labor.
The housing stock suffered the greatest destruction. Balconies in high-rise buildings were damaged, windows were broken, and fires broke out on the upper floors. In the private sector, residential buildings caught fire, and rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
In the Khadzhibeyskyi district, apartments and the roof of a five-story building were on fire. In the Kyivskyi district, non-residential buildings were damaged and windows in residential buildings were broken.
In total, more than ten cars were damaged in the city.
