General Valeriy Zaluzhny, former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Russia is capable of exhausting the resources of Western air defense systems (ADF) in the event of a large-scale conflict. In his opinion, modern air defense systems used by NATO countries are high-tech, but at the same time dependent on regular supplies of ammunition, which could become their weak point.
At the rate of air strikes that Russian forces are currently maintaining against Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to neutralize Europe's air defenses within 2-3 months.
The former commander-in-chief also noted that NATO countries have not yet begun to look for alternative methods of countering drones and missiles, relying on aviation and air defense systems.
