Russia continues to attack civilian targets in the Kharkiv region

On October 7, another tragedy occurred in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, due to Russian aggression. A guided bomb hit a sports field on the territory of an educational institution, injuring two civilians. According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, among the victims are a 57-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man.

Russian troops continue to attack the civilian infrastructure of the region. Shelling has also been recorded in the Bogodukhiv district. In the village of Myronivka, shelling caused a fire that engulfed 2 hectares of dry grass. As a result of the attack in the village of Zolochiv, 16 private houses and two-story apartment buildings were damaged.

The village of Perovske was subjected to mortar shelling, which damaged power grids and a private house.

Meanwhile, fighting intensified in the Kharkiv direction. Six clashes with Russian troops were recorded over the past 24 hours, in particular in the Starytsia and Vovchansk areas. In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor launched 25 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, trying to break through the defenses in the areas of Synkivka, Novoselivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova and Kruglyakivka.

Ukrainian defenders continue to repel enemy attacks, despite daily shelling and constant attempts by Russian forces to break through. Attacks on civilian infrastructure indicate that Russia continues to use terror tactics against civilians.
