DTEK reports significant damage to thermal power plant equipment as a result of shelling. Energy workers immediately began restoration work, but it is impossible to eliminate all the consequences immediately.
The Telegram channel “Nikolaevsky Vanek” notes that this time the attacks were aimed not only at the electricity supply, but also at the water, heating and gas networks. “This was a unique attack that will have long-term consequences,” the message states.
As early as December 24, experts assured that no outages were planned. If there had been no shelling, Ukrainians could have celebrated the holiday with lights. However, Russian missile strikes have once again thrown chaos into the plans of energy professionals.
Despite this, Ukrainian energy professionals are once again demonstrating endurance and professionalism, promptly working to restore electricity supply.
