According to sources of the 360ua.news in Washington, today Russia put forward new conditions for concluding a peace treaty with Ukraine.
In particular, the Kremlin, within the framework of the negotiation process, refuses to return to Ukraine the temporarily occupied territories of Sumy and Kharkiv regions without an agreement on the creation of so-called “sanitary zones” there.
According to the source, the issue of creating "sanitary zones" in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions will be one of the items that will be discussed tomorrow during the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.
According to sources in the diplomatic corps, the Ukrainian delegation predicts that the result of tomorrow's meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky should be "a new meeting with the Russians in Istanbul, with 90% certainty that the exact date will not be set."
At the same time, as the source emphasizes, "the Russians are waiting for confirmation of the fulfillment of their conditions or at least a willingness to discuss them."
