The Russian Federation continues to actively prepare for new massive strikes on Ukraine, having accumulated over 1,100–1,200 missiles , which is enough for at least ten major attacks. This was stated by aviation expert Valery Romanenko , referring to data from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Missile stocks
As of July 2024, Russia had approximately:
- 150–200 Iskander ballistic missiles with a production rate of 40–50 units per month. To date, this stockpile has grown to over 300 missiles .
- 55 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles , with production ranging from 2 to 6 units per month. Currently, their number is estimated at 70 units .
- 600 cruise missiles of the “Caliber”, “Onyx”, Kh-101 types, as well as the newest Kh-69.
In total, these stocks allow the Russian military to carry out up to 10 massive missile attacks , given that production continues.
Mass production of drones
In addition to missiles, Russia has increased production of Shahed , reaching 600 units per month as of August 2024.
