Russian troops have increased the intensity of fighting on certain sections of the front in recent weeks. According to military analysts, such activity may indicate preparations for new offensive operations.
In the first ten days of March, the Russian army carried out about 1,400 attacks on various front-line directions. Although this figure is formally lower than in some previous periods, it remains close to the average values of recent months. From September to February, the occupation forces carried out about 1,800 assault operations per month, which indicates a consistently high intensity of fighting.
The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction. It is there, according to analysts, that Russian troops continue to concentrate their main forces and regularly send infantry on assaults.
At the same time, the enemy's activity in the Zaporizhia direction, in particular in the Hulyaipol area, has recently sharply increased. According to experts, the intensity of attacks in this sector already exceeds the indicators in the Pokrovsky direction.
Intensification of hostilities is also being recorded near Kostyantynivka. There, Russian units are regularly trying to test the defenses of Ukrainian troops, conducting local assaults and trying to gain a foothold in individual positions.
In addition, there has been an increase in activity in the Slavyansk direction. Analysts attribute this to the strengthening of Russian units near Siversk, where the occupation forces are increasing the presence of infantry.
Amid the intensification of hostilities, the Russian command is also regrouping troops and replenishing reserves. According to experts, this may be due to changing weather conditions and the appearance of denser vegetation, which affects combat tactics and complicates observation on the battlefield.
Analysts suggest that the increase in the intensity of attacks may be part of preparations for new attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses in certain areas.
