On the night of June 7, Russian occupation forces launched an attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in several regions of the country.
The attack began late in the evening of June 6, when the enemy launched several groups of attack drones (UAVs). Towards morning, a missile attack began.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, most of the UAVs were heading towards the western and northern regions. Some of them approached Starokostyantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. The missiles fired by the Russians also mostly aimed at Starokostyantyniv, flying towards the target in two groups, circling different regions.
As of this morning, explosions could be heard in the Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Kharkiv regions.
In the Kyiv region, according to the local regional military administration (OVA), a fire broke out at one of the industrial enterprises as a result of the attack. There were no casualties.
There is no information yet about the consequences in other regions where the explosions occurred. There are also no reports of attacks by the occupiers on Ukraine's energy facilities.
In the Kyiv region, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise as a result of a nighttime enemy attack that lasted more than four hours, as reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko. He noted that air defense systems were working, but the attack still led to a fire.
“There are no victims. The elimination of the consequences of the fire is ongoing. All emergency services are working,” said the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
