Today, Russian troops carried out missile attacks on critical infrastructure facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Thanks to the coordinated work of air defense units, no casualties were reported. This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional military administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, on her official Telegram page.
“The morning in Ukraine began with rocket fire. The enemy used various types of weapons. In the Carpathian region, the target was critical infrastructure facilities. Air defense forces were operating in the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene. The situation is under control,” Onyshchuk wrote.
Situation in Lviv
Russian cruise missiles have also attacked energy infrastructure in the Lviv region. Emergency power outages have been imposed in six regions of Ukraine, but Lviv has not yet been affected.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported that during today's strike, the Russian Federation attacked the region's energy infrastructure.
“During the morning attack on the territory of the region, enemy cruise missiles were recorded. As of now, they no longer pose a threat. The enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of our region and Ukraine. Emergency shutdowns have been introduced in 6 regions, but Lviv is not on this list yet,” Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi wrote on Telegram.
