The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, has exposed a new wave of sabotage organized by Russian special services. Five people were detained in Kyiv, Kharkiv region and Dnipropetrovsk region, whom the Russian Federation used for a series of arsons. Among the exposed perpetrators are two minors, deserters and a recruited FSB agent. These actions are part of the Kremlin's attempts to destabilize the situation inside Ukraine.
Arson of a synagogue in Kryvyi Rih: Russians used a 14-year-old teenager
In Kryvyi Rih, the SBU detained a 14-year-old boy who tried to set fire to a synagogue on instructions from Telegram channels linked to Russian special services. The teenager acted according to detailed instructions: he made two "Molotov cocktails", waited for darkness and threw them into the front door of the synagogue. He did not receive the promised reward from the Russian Federation - instead, he received criminal suspicion.
Armed Forces vehicles set on fire: traitors among deserters
Two deserters have been detained in the Dnipropetrovsk region who set fire to an official vehicle of the Armed Forces for a promised payment from the Russian Federation. Later, they planned to make an improvised explosive device for a terrorist attack, but were stopped by special services after the first attempt.
FSB agent operated in Kharkiv region
In Kharkiv region, the SBU exposed a 22-year-old FSB agent who deliberately set fire to Ukrzaliznytsia equipment - relay and battery cabinets. Such actions could have paralyzed rail traffic, including with military trains, and posed a direct threat to logistics.
Arson in Kyiv: A New Attempt to Destroy Defense Infrastructure
A 16-year-old student from Vinnytsia Oblast was detained in the capital. He arrived in Kyiv to carry out a sabotage mission. His goal was to set fire to the official car of a National Guard UAV operator. He was detained at the moment of committing the crime.
Legal consequences: suspicions under serious articles
All detainees were informed of suspicion under three serious articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Part 2 of Article 113 — sabotage under martial law;

Part 1 of Article 114-1 — obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

Part 2 of Article 194 — intentional damage to property by arson.
The defendants face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
