Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Operational Military Administration, stated that Russian troops are not stopping their activities in the city of Kharkiv, using it as a springboard for training with modified ammunition.
“The enemy is trying to adapt, using all available resources stored in their warehouses, against the civilian population. We had the first strike on the city of Kharkiv last Sunday, in the area of a private school. The KAB-250 ammunition with wings and a GPS module was used,” the head of the OVA reported.
He also emphasized that these munitions, in particular the UMPB 30-D, are valued at approximately $100,000, and the enemy's intention to use them is becoming increasingly complex and expensive.
"For example, Caliber missiles cost about $10 million. The S-400 also costs almost $2 million, and the S-300 costs up to $500,000 per missile," he added.
Sinegubov noted that Kharkiv has recently come under enemy fire again, with more than three hits by guided bombs recorded. He stressed the importance of providing Ukraine with modern air defense systems, powerful combat aircraft, and long-range weapons to protect the city and its surroundings.
“Previously, it was announced that the US may allow opening fire on Russian territory along the entire border where enemy troops are trying to cross the border,” analysts at the Institute for the Study of War emphasized.
