On Friday night, the Russian military carried out another attack on Kyiv using kamikaze drones. As a result of one of the drones hitting it, the technical surface of a 16-story residential building in the Solomyanskyi district was damaged.
"On the night of January 10, the enemy attacked the capital with strike UAVs. In the Solomyanskyi district, the drone hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building. Fortunately, a fire was avoided," the State Emergency Service reported on social networks.
A car was reportedly damaged in the yard. "Preliminarily, no injuries," the report says.
"As of 10:30 a.m., dangerous structures from the roof and technical floor have already been cleared. Work is ongoing on the stairwell," the State Emergency Service said.
28 rescuers are working at the scene and 5 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service are involved.
In the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, debris from an enemy drone damaged a high-rise building. The incident occurred at around 2 a.m. on January 10; no injuries were reported.
