A Russian drone hit a Kyiv-Sumy train: there were about 200 people in the cars

Russian forces attacked a passenger train traveling from Kyiv to Sumy. According to preliminary data, there were about 200 people on board at the time of the attack.

The strike was reportedly carried out using a Lancet-type strike drone.

The attack damaged the locomotive or one of the train cars. However, according to available information, there were no injuries among passengers or staff.

After the incident, all people were evacuated from the train and taken to their destination by another locomotive.

The circumstances of the attack and the extent of the damage are currently being determined.

The attack on the passenger train was another case of attacks by Russian forces on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
