On the night of May 5, Russian drones launched a massive attack on Ukraine. Several cities were damaged, and there were injuries, including children. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Kyiv
As a result of a drone attack in the capital, 11 people were injured, including two children aged 14 and 17. In Kyiv, hits were recorded in the Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

A fire broke out in a high-rise building in the Obolonskyi district: the fire engulfed the top floor and roof of the 12-story building, and the ceiling was partially destroyed.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an electric pole and the roadbed under the railway bridge were damaged.
All fires have been extinguished, and rescuers are working at the scene of the impacts.
Cherkasy
Five fires broke out in the city as a result of the attack, one person was injured. Two apartments in a dormitory on the first and second floors were significantly damaged.
Zaporizhzhia region
As reported by the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov, at least eight aerial bombs (ABBs) hit the front-line town of Orekhov. Residential buildings were destroyed, and two people were injured.
