Today, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, causing significant damage and casualties. According to preliminary reports, one person was killed and 13 others were injured in the attack, including a 16-year-old girl.

“According to the investigation, on December 24, 2024, the Russian military launched a missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih. Currently, 1 person is known to have died. 13 people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl,” the report says.
It is noted that a residential building, shops, and cars were damaged.
The Prosecutor General's Office emphasizes that information about the victims and damage is being clarified. It is likely that people remain under the rubble of the building.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings into the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the report says.
