Russian UAV hits house: journalist and her husband killed

On the night of February 26, a Russian drone attack on the Kyiv region killed Ukrinform news agency journalist Tetyana Kulyk and her husband Pavlo Ivanchev. The enemy drone hit their house in the Buchansky district, causing a large-scale fire.

A Russian drone reportedly hit her house in the Buchanskyi district, causing a fire.

"Tetyana Kulyk is the author and presenter of the project "Nation of the Invincible", who served as the editor-in-chief of the Main Multimedia Editorial Office. She was an experienced journalist, also held the position of presenter of the "Central Channel" (KDTRK), the World Radio Broadcasting Service of Ukraine, a TV presenter of the Public Broadcasting Service, and was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine," the post says.

The attack also killed Kulyk's husband, Pavlo Ivanchov, a professor at the Bogomolets National Medical University. This was reported on the university's Facebook page.

“As we learned from information from neighbors, Pavlo Ivanchov was probably at home with his wife Tatyana at the time of the shooting. Rescuers extinguished the fire, operational investigative actions are ongoing at the scene, and relevant services continue to work,” the post says.

According to rescuers, the body of the deceased was found at the scene of the fire. The body found in Professor Ivanchov's house was sent for forensic examination to confirm the identity.
