A serious escalation has been recorded on the front in the Donetsk region. Russian troops have broken through to the outskirts of Velyka Novoselka, reports the Ukrainian military publication Deep State . The situation in the region is called "extremely difficult."
Yesterday, Russian troops stormed there in several columns, along the highway from Shakhtarske. There was also a column of equipment from Zolotaya Niva, which landed troops three kilometers east of the hangars near Velyka Novoselka.
According to the public, the Russians transferred reserves there from another direction.
"Unfortunately, the defense (under Velyka Novoselka – Ed.) turned out to be not very reliable, the enemy felt it immediately, managing to relatively quickly attract reserves, which, as expected, would be used for assaults towards Rozlyv, that is, forces were withdrawn from the western Kurakhiv direction," writes DS.
