Yesterday, Russian troops launched attacks on nine regions of Ukraine, including:
- In Chernihiv region, the Russian army fired a mortar, causing nine explosions. Koryukiv district came under enemy fire. Information about possible casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure is still being clarified.
- Four mortar attacks were recorded in Sumy region, resulting in nine explosions. Three territorial communities came under enemy fire without any consequences, according to preliminary data.
- In the Zaporizhia region, Russian troops shelled 20 settlements, with a total of 85 enemy strikes recorded.
- In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian army attacked Nikopol, firing 20 shells. A private house was damaged by enemy fire.
- In Kharkiv region, about 20 settlements were shelled with mortars and artillery, 56 artillery strikes were recorded. Reports of the destruction of residential buildings were received seven times, but no casualties among the population.
- In Luhansk region, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled eight assaults. In total, enemy attacks totaled 131 times over the course of 24 hours, with 542 shells fired.
- In Donetsk region, five settlements were under enemy fire, and damage was recorded to 14 residential buildings.
- In the Mykolaiv region, the city of Ochakiv came under artillery fire, but there were no casualties.
- In the Kherson region, Russian troops shelled the region 67 times, firing 413 shells. They hit the city of Kherson three times.
