This night, Russian strike drones attacked Ukrainian infrastructure - in Poltava and Sumy regions, large-scale fires and damage to infrastructure occurred as a result of direct hits and falling debris. According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the attacks damaged an administrative building, warehouses and rolling stock of railway infrastructure, and a hit on an energy facility was also recorded.
The head of the Poltava OVA, Volodymyr Kohut, reported that 28 legal entities and 1,070 household consumers were left without electricity due to damage to the energy infrastructure. Rescuers are working at the scene of the fires - fire extinguishing and damage inspection are ongoing.
Morning reports also came from Sumy region: the local OVA reported morning strikes by drones on the territory of the community. In particular, in Sumy, a trolleybus was damaged as a result of the attack - a passenger and a driver sought medical help; their condition was reported as satisfactory.
The State Emergency Service also informs about the consequences of nighttime hits in the Kharkiv region: in the Nemyshlyansky district of Kharkiv, there was destruction and a fire on the territory of a civilian enterprise. In all the mentioned cases, according to rescuers and local administrations, there were no fatalities.
As of now, emergency and restoration work in the energy sector and the work of operational services to eliminate fires and eliminate the consequences of impacts are ongoing. Local OVA urge residents to remain calm, follow safety rules, and follow official messages from local governments and the State Emergency Service.
