Ukraine is facing new challenges against the background of the ongoing war with Russia. People's deputy Maryana Bezugla expressed her concern about the situation on the Donetsk front, associating the increase in risks with personnel changes in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We will remind you that General Drapatoy was appointed the commander of the Ground Forces, the commander of the 95th brigade Apostol became the deputy head of the Armed Forces Committee, and the commander of the 93rd brigade Palis became the deputy head of the President's Office.
According to Bezuglai, these appointments can significantly weaken the front.
"In the course of a week, information has been received about the intensification of the Russian offensive on Kramatorsk. One of the key brigades under the leadership of Drapatoy is the 93rd brigade, whose commander is Palisa. On the days when the enemy activates the offensive, Drapaty and Palis are assigned to Kyiv for non-combat positions.
This entails a management vacuum both in the front-line management structure and in one of the key brigades at the time of the enemy's offensive. So, instead of expanding Drapatoy's combat powers and giving him control over a large part of the front, he is appointed to the rear position of Commander of the Ground Forces. "Honorary promotion".
Tasks in this position include the preparation of reserves, coordination of the work of the TCC and SP, the endless "stubborn" creation of "paper" brigades, which has long since discredited itself. Drapatoy's deputies are from Syrskyi and Pavlyuk, and the staff is made up of best men, suitors and friends of the generals' clans.
Even in the presence of carte blanche, which Drapatiy did not receive, it takes several months to sort out the rear issues. But the general's specialty is combat management, in which he achieved unique mastery. As a result, we lose the best combat manager, and the risk of losing the Donetsk region to Trump's inauguration increases many times," Bezugla writes.
In her opinion, there may be problems in the Kursk region as well.
"One of the key brigades in Kurshchyna - the 95th under the command of Apostol - also lost its commander. The apostle was recalled to Kyiv. This further increases the combat risks," the People's Deputy writes, stating that "the whole situation looks like a planned Russian operation."
