The scandal surrounding the founder of the G.Bar beauty salon chain, Saba Musina, is gaining momentum. After the statements of blogger Andriy Trushkovsky, who claimed in his video that the start-up capital of her business allegedly came from money stolen from Ukroboronprom, the businesswoman publicly reacted.
According to Trushkovsky, Musina's first husband, Kostyantyn Cherednychenko, who had ties to Ukroboronprom, gave her $50,000 to open the salons. The blogger stated that this money was "army money."
In response, Saba Musina emphasized in her address that her marriage to Cherednychenko ended over ten years ago, and since then she has had no connection with his personal or financial life.
" Any attempt to link my name, my business, or my team to the criminal proceedings opened against him is manipulation and misleading the public ," she wrote.
Musina added that it took her time to react, as the accusations she heard came as a shock to her. At the same time, she emphasized that she would have to answer in court for slander and attempts to destroy her honor, dignity, and business reputation.
" My lawyers are already preparing a lawsuit, in which we will demand facts. Let the court analyze the "evidence" and evaluate it ," the founder of G.Bar said.
Regarding other rumors voiced by Trushkovsky, the businesswoman refused to comment, stating that “attention is the only thing the source from which such news is drawn seeks.” She also thanked everyone who supported her during the scandal.
