The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court to recover property to the state revenue, which the investigation considers to be unfounded assets of the head of the fuel and lubricants warehouse of the Logistics Support Center of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his relatives. This was reported by "Law and Business" with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, in 2024, the wife of a serviceman purchased a residential building and a land plot in the Lviv region with a total area of 180.8 square meters on his behalf. The transaction cost was 2.9 million hryvnias. The investigation found that the couple did not have sufficient official income or savings that could explain the origin of the funds for this property.
In 2025, the house was sold for 2.7 million hryvnias. The State Bureau of Investigation qualified these circumstances as containing signs of unjustified enrichment. After analyzing the materials, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court of Justice to recover assets to the state revenue in the amount of over 2.9 million hryvnias.
The court will consider whether the funds used to purchase the real estate could have been provided by the lawful income of the serviceman and his family members. The Supreme Court of Justice must determine whether the assets meet the criteria for validity set forth in the legislation.
